The Director of Product Marketing leads a team of marketers (eventually) and directly reports to the SVP Marketing. Is responsible for managing the whole product lifecycle from Alpha development to end of life. Responsible for Go To Market planning, messaging and delivery of services to the market. Focuses on understanding the market and market needs, but with an emphasis on understanding the ideal customer profile of the company’s products and services. Reports to the VP Marketing but works cross departmentally with product, engineering, customer service and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enabling the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure they are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities.
  • Bringing services and features to market while collaborating with the service developer and customer research teams, new development, and product strategy.
