Sales Engineers are customer advocates for the true capabilities of the TapClicks platform and our clients' most sophisticated use cases. Success is measured by client go-lives and long-term retention.

The Role

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for helping sales identify client requirements and leverage platform features to provide custom solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital media and analytics space and an ability to uncover the requirements of and respond to clients’ unique use cases. The ability to multitask is a must, often working on multiple solutions simultaneously. In addition, the role requires working effectively with multiple teams throughout TapClicks in order to support clients and drive new business. Sales Engineers also provide support to our Client Success organization in an effort to increase customer engagement with various products and services.

  • Provide custom-tailored product demonstrations speaking to client needs
  • Leverage platform functionality to provide solutions
  • Maintain engagement with platform and client relationship
  • Work across wider org looping in necessary SMEs where necessary
  • Work with Sales to provide accurate supporting documentation
  • Track unique feature requests in an effort to drive continual improvement
  • Utilize Jira to track requests, unique projects, and bugs

 

Experience you’ll need to be successful

  • Requires 4+ years of related experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to understand, diagnose and discuss client challenges
  • Understanding of differentiators between target industry verticals and their unique use cases (for example, success metrics for an automotive client will be very different from a client in healthcare)
